Keynote Speaker
Professor Ray Fisk, founder of ServCollab and eminent scholar in TSR research.
Ray Fisk is the Founder and President of ServCollab and Emeritus Professor of Marketing in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. Dr. Fisk is a pioneering founder of the service research field. He founded the AMA Services Special Interest Group (SERVSIG) in 1993 and has served SERVSIG in many leadership roles. The American Marketing Association made him the Inaugural Recipient of the SIG Leadership Award in 2016. He received the Career Contributions to the Services Discipline Award from SERVSIG in 2005. In 2012, he received the Grönroos Service Research Award from the Hanken School of Economics, Finland.
Colloquium format
The colloquium will facilitate a discussion on issues pertaining to transformative service research and broader transformative marketing activities.
There will be an opportunity to present:
- A full 20-minute conference paper with 10 minutes for discussion, designed to share a well-developed piece of work
- Idea Factory sessions where people can present a shorter 10-minute tale and then 10 minutes of discussion.
All Transformative Services and Marketing topics are suitable:
- Dealing with Vulnerability
- Harms in Transformative offerings
- Dealing with Aging Communities
- Technology and Wellbeing
- Health Care Contexts
- Migrants and Refugee issues
- Objective and subjective measurement of wellbeing
The colloquium is designed to be interactive with registrations limited to 75 attendees.
Cost and inclusions
Moring tea, Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided and thus there is a small registration fee to cover costs academics ($70 academics & $20 PhD and masters students)
