Fast-track your way to a Deakin MBA

CPA Australia, ACCA & IPA members now eligible for generous course credits.

Credits for up to half of Deakin’s MBA program are now available for current full professional members of Australia’s leading accounting organisations.

Thanks to credit arrangements between Deakin Business School and CPA Australia, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) that recognise professional experience, full members of these organisations will only need to complete six of the 12 units required for a Deakin MBA qualification.

To provide more information about these opportunities, Deakin Business School staff will be attending the 20th World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) in Sydney on 5-8 November.

This international event only occurs every four years and brings together more than 6,000 delegates from over 130 countries to hear world-class speakers and leaders across the finance and business community.

The Deakin MBA is rated 5 stars by QS and is internationally recognised and EPAS-accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) while the online MBA program is ranked #15 globally* and has been recognised as the very best online MBA in Victoria for three years running.

Renowned for its flexibility and industry connections, Deakin’s MBA is designed for busy professionals seeking career development while balancing work and lifestyle commitments.

MBA Director, Associate Professor Colin Higgins, welcomes the new agreements which recognise the professional achievements of CPA Australia, ACC and IPA members.

‘We commend these organisations for their encouragement to elevate education standards for both clients and the wider community and are delighted to offer members course credits for up to half of the MBA program.’

He says Deakin’s MBA is underpinned by a commitment to career enhancement and professional development.

‘These agreements demonstrate how Deakin Business School continues to be a leader in developing and sustaining strong partnerships within Australia’s business community. Our MBA program is continually informed by applied and relevant content that will be an enduring and valued credential to professional organisations.’
