San Diego Sports Consulting Project 2016

Register your interest now!

Deakin sport management students have the opportunity to spend two weeks working on the San Diego Sports Consulting Project (SDSCP) in California.

The SDSCP is designed to give students an opportunity to leverage their existing business skills, as well as develop new ones, in an exciting and challenging sports business environment. The project has now attracted a number of high-profile partners to create a more diverse set of challenges for participating candidates.

Last year our students worked with the San Diego Padres (Major League Baseball) ticketing and sponsorship, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) San Diego Chapter, Farmers Insurance Torrey Pines PGA Tournament, Competitor Group and Connexions.

Students must be enrolled in M748 Master of Business (Sport Management) and have completed 50 per cent of their units in order to be eligible to apply.

The program will take place between 6 – 24 June 2016 and can be taken as industry experience or for credit towards your degree*. If you are interested and would like more information, including an application form, please email bltours@deakin.edu.au
