Deakin Business School's Sport Management Alumni Chapter invite you to their next professional development event.

Two prominent Sport Management Alumni will feature as guest speakers and will share their experiences as part of our industry professional development session. Each will reflect on their careers since studying at Deakin, including progression through roles and insights on the latest topics and trends in sport management. Both speakers will address the group, with a Q&A to follow and networking time before and after the presentations.

Speaker details:

  • Ben Crowe is a Co-Founder of Unscriptd.com, the destination for the most inspiring, engaging and thought provoking stories from the world of sport. Since studying in the Sport Management program, Ben has been Director of Sport Marketing for NIKE across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Prior to his current role he was a Partner at Gemba.
  • Carissa Harris has carved out a successful and vibrant career in international sport event management since first volunteering at the Australian Open as a student. With management experience across numerous hallmark sporting events including two Olympic and Paralympic Games, multiple world championships, the Australian F1 Grand Prix and the Red Bull Air Race, Carissa is now in the process of reinvigorating the planning and delivery of international cricket in Australia.
