Brian Cook has been the CEO of both Geelong and West Coast Eagles Football Clubs over the last 27 years. With a career dedicated to sport, Brian has experience in sports research for the Australian Sports Commission, analysing and making recommendations to the Federal Government on the funding of all major sports science research proposals.
Brian was awarded the Eunice Gill Award in 1954 for services to Coaching at a National Level by the Australian Coaching Council and in 2001 received an Australian Sports Medal from the Prime Minister for his services to sport. Brian was awarded AFL Life Membership in 2008 and Geelong Football Club Life Membership in 2009. He was also awarded the 'Australian Sports Executive for 2007' by the Confederation of Australian Sport.
